No Leash?

I am sooooooooooo happy and proud of Gabby!! 

We brought her out during the Garage Sale with her leash attached.  After cruising around with her, I got brave enough to drop the handle and let her hang out. She was FINE! She just stuck around!! Eventually, we unhooked the leash and she was still FINE! WOW! My goal has been to take her down to the beach and other open areas to run and play catch but had a fear of taking her off leash. 

A major worry is that she will start running and not listen to the 'Gabby Come' command. We've been playing the 'Hide and Seek' game in the house by hiding and calling 'Gabby Come', she finds us and we give a treat. She has been enjoying that game! 

This was the second part of attempting while in our yard and was successful!!

We'll continue to work with her in hopes to someday be able to let her enjoy some freedom with all of the other dogs on the beach and Crissy Field.
